Stephen Pokoj has over forty years of experience in commercial litigation, commercial transactions, and real estate. He has represented public and private corporations in litigation involving franchises, contract disputes, lease disputes, and business torts. In addition he has assisted clients in business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, sales and liquidations, and real estate developments. He has represented both lenders and borrowers in complicated loan transactions. Mr. Pokoj focuses on finding cost effective, practical solutions to the issues facing his business clients.

Practice:
Charles Kennedy began his career as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. where he litigated federal tax matters. Since returning to his home state of Michigan in 1994, Charles Kennedy has concentrated his practice on the representation of businesses and the individuals who own and run businesses, with a focus on tax planning and corporate structure issues. Charles Kennedy has also expanded on his early experience with Government service as City Attorney for Grosse Pointe. Charles Kennedy is frequently retained by other communities to advise and litigate state property tax matters. Charles Kennedy also represents certain Taft-Hartley fringe benefit funds with respect to litigation concerning fringe benefit obligations.
